On October 10th of 2022, allegations of Rex Orange County or Alexander O ́Connor came out.
The popular indie singer was charged with six counts of sexual assault that happened this past
June.

On June first, the 24 year old artist allegedly assaulted a woman over the age of 16 (Age of
consent in the UK) twice in London’s West End, once in a taxi, and three times at his home in
Notting Hill.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges in Southwark Crown Court in London. Rex was then
released on unconditional bail. A trial date was set on January 3rd.

Many people think that this is his actual reason for cutting his upcoming tour in Australia, New
Zealand, and Europe. He had told the public that he canceled the tour due to “unforeseen
personal circumstances”.

Lots of fans or victims of SA  were enraged by the news of this. As this dies down
on social media and the general news it shows how a lot of us just how much people get
away with SA, grooming, or worse. Although a lot of people don’t defend stuff like this, there’s
still dumb people who will defend their favorite celebrities until they are proven guilty or
innocent.

As of now we are unsure of what Rex is doing or what he will do about these
charges/allegations. Lot of us will definitely no longer be listening to his music.
