On Aug. 24, the Bakersfield High School JV football team took the win at the Frontier Titans home. While it looked promising for the Titans during the first quarter, the Drillers made a comeback for the winning score.
During halftime, the Titan cheerleaders did a dance while the football teams had a talk on the sidelines.
The crowds from both schools were very energized and very loud. Every time one of the teams made a touchdown, their student section went crazy. Fans were yelling, clapping, and stomping their feet in the stands. Frontier’s crowd was full, but the Drillers section wasn’t as packed since it was an away game.
The final scores were:
Freshman: 44-6
JV: 21-0
Varsity: 0-41
