Drillers begin to arrive for the Senior Sunset carnival.
The Bakersfield High School class of 2024 embraced the end of their senior year at the Senior Sunset carnival on May 29.
Drillers used the time to celebrate their upcoming graduation with friends. The carnival included food, games, waterslides, and more. The event is concluded with the graduating class enjoying watching one last sunset together.
Senior Sunset is an event held at the end of each school year for students to celebrate the end of their high school career. This is a symbolic event that offers closure to Drillers, just as seniors signify the beginning of their final year at BHS with Senior Sunrise in the August.
