BHS seniors volunteered to get soaked to raise money for the Class of 2025.
Bakersfield High School seniors and staff volunteered to participate in the annual “Soak-a-Senior” event to raise funds for the Class of 2025.
Staff and students alike paid amounts ranging from $3 to soak students with sponges to $20 to pour a bucket of water on the principal. Approximately sixty seniors participated alongside more than a dozen staff members over the two lunch periods.
Drillers ultimately raised approximately $1400 according to Anna Olson, BHS Activities Director.
