Driller Drama invites the community to join them and catch their upcoming production of the musical “Hadestown.”
The drama “Hadestown” follows the stories of the Greek myths of Orpheus and his wife, Eurydice, with a modernized twist. The play also includes the story of Hades, the Greek God of the underworld, and his wife, Persephone.
“Hadestown” is a dramatic, tragic jazz musical with 40 New Orleans-inspired songs. The play is made up mostly of music and singing, and it includes little traditional dialogue.
Heather Brandon, BHS theater instructor, emphasizes that the Tony Award-winning play has been a teen favorite and encourages everyone to check it out.
