Quaran-teen Picks, Pt. 2

With a new semester comes a new list of television shows to watch. If you need more variety in your watchlist, I have a few great suggestions!

GILMORE GIRLS
Gilmore Girls is a classic television show that takes place in the early 2000s and centers around the lives of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. It’s really fun and light-hearted. It’s also easy to watch; if you need a show you can put on in the background while you do something else, this would be great. It is a great show that provides enough heartbreak to keep you pulled into the show, but not too much that it makes you depressed. 10/10

iCARLY
iCarly is perhaps one of the most iconic television shows of its time. The show focuses on a girl named Carly and her friends Sam and Freddy and their webcast. They become very famous and do lots of crazy things with the help of their friends and family. This is a very funny show, and really great if you need a break from all of the heavy stuff happening in the world. 10/10

NEW GIRL
At first, I was reluctant to watch New Girl. I had heard good things about it, but I just felt like I wasn’t the type of person who would like the show. I was wrong. This show is so hilarious and makes me so happy to watch it. While it’s a little difficult to watch at some times, it keeps pulling you back to it. 10/10

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT
Arrested Development is an excruciatingly painful, hilariously stupid show to watch. I watched it for months and months and it constantly kept me coming back, asking “What next?” There are so many things going on all the time, and they just keep going. It’s a fantastic show that is great for someone who wants to dive deep into a show that will keep them entertained and laughing, while silently wishing they could reach in the screen and fix everything.
