Tis the season for wonder and dancing; the Winter Formal is coming up on December 16, and here is what you need to know!
This year’s Formal theme is “Winter Wonderland.” Formal starts at 8:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm.
Formal is open to all Drillers, unlike prom, which is only for juniors and seniors.
Price
Formal tickets are $55 with an ASB sticker and $60 without. The tickets can be paid with cash or credit at the Finance Office now.
Proper Attire
Appropriate formal attire may include
- A tuxedo or suit
- A sports coat or blazer paired with a nice shirt and slacks.
- A nice dress
- A nice skirt with a matching blouse
Inappropriate formal attire may include
- Jeans
- T-shirts
- Hoodies
Revealing clothes are not allowed, just as they are not allowed regularly at school.
Guests
Guests from other schools are allowed, but they must be approved.
For Drillers who are thinking about inviting a friend from another school, they must pick up a “Guest Permission Request for Formal Approval” form in the Student Activities Building (SAB). Tickets for guests cannot be purchased until they have been approved.
