Staff use signs to send positive messages to Drillers.
Bakersfield High School showed support for staff and students’ wellbeing with a Mental Health Fair on Sep. 11.
The event was held in Elm Grove during lunch as a part of Suicide Awareness Week. Students and staff were invited to participate in games, and were offered resources focused on improving their mental health.
Local organizations, such as Kern County Behavior Health and Recovery Services, attended the fair and offered information about the help that they can provide.
