Looking for an easy delicious snack? Need a recipe? Here is one!  This quick and easy avocado toast with egg! This includes 5 ingredients you can find around the house.

Gather all of the ingredients. (Samantha Benavides)

Prep time: 4 minutes

Cook time: 10-15 minutes

Total time: 14-20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Any type of bread
  • One egg

    Cut the avocado. (Samantha Benavides)
  • Half of an avocado
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper

Cooking Directions:

First, turn on your stove to medium, put your pan on the stove, and let it heat up.

When it’s done, put oil onto the pan then grab an egg; crack the egg open and sprinkle a little bit of salt onto the egg.

While the egg is cooking, grab your bread and put it into the toaster; if you want your bread to be perfectly toasted, put it on settings 2-3.

Let the egg cook for about 2 minutes then flip over and let it cook for the same amount of time. Once done, take your egg out of the pan and place it on a plate.

Now, cut an avocado into half; take half of that avocado and cut it into little pieces.

Once your bread is toasted and ready, spread the cut-up pieces of the avocado onto your toasted bread. Add a pinch of salt, or to taste, onto the pieces of avocado.

Finally, place your sunny-side egg on the bread with the avocado.

To top it off, you could add ground pepper to make it taste even better!
